Chelsea Elkington Neal

My creative story begins at a young age watching my mother, an artist and interior designer, paint beautiful horse portraits. Her love for art & design instilled in me my own love for creating unique pieces meant to make a statement within the space it will hang. I sign my work with my middle name, Elkington, to honor my roots and the artsy heritage I feel so blessed to be a part of.

I worked as a gallery specialist and a visual merchandiser for two popular home and clothing stores and also as an assistant faux painter/muralist before deciding to focus on painting full time. This switch has landed my art in restaurants, a PGA Tour Golf Club, and Napa Valley Wineries as well as in homes across the United States, Canada, and recently the UK.

I get my painting inspiration from nature, food, and the interiors I envision them adorning one day. I choose to present my subjects in a ‘portrait-style’ and usually lean towards oversized dimensions as I feel my subject matter has the most impact when shown larger-than-life.

I do accept commissions and would love to create a unique piece of art for your home or business! Feel free to contact me with any questions you have about the art you see here or for commission inquiries.

Thank you for your interest in Elkington Studio!
